Hello 2015; Let’s be besties.

resized_i-should-buy-a-boat-cat-meme-generator-realizing-the-vacation-s-almost-over-i-should-do-some-work-48a184I go back to work tomorrow and I’m okay with that. Sure, I’d like to watch Arrow all day long and have my husband pretend to murder me with a Lightsaber, but yeah, I’m ready.

People have been asking me about New Year’s resolutions. The more I thought about it, well, I concluded I’m not a resolutioner. I mean, I used to be but always rebelled against everything I wanted to do/change. Lose weight? Sure, five Chipotle burritos should do the trick. Become smarter? Sure, watching Keeping up with the Kardashians will help.

Anyway, instead of sharing resolutions, I thought I’d share my top highlights of 2014.

  1. Started working for an awesome company called Formstack;
  2. Lost 40 lbs. Well, more like 30 because a Pilgrim and Santa said it was okay to eat all the things!;
  3. Finished Financial Peace University, paid off a lot of debt, and will continue to do so;
  4. Joined a gym that I actually like;
  5. Celebrated a year of marriage. ♡

I’m ready for 2015. I’m excited for 2015. I’m 2015. …That doesn’t make sense, but it just felt right to type. Moving on…

What were your highlights of 2014?

    Hi Cate, how are you? Great to know you feel optimistic, I do too. In a way, I am doing some financial training as well – on investing. I am already making money however utilising the skills of experienced investors. I think I’ll have to share Financial Peace University with a friend of mine. Congratulations on the new job, Formstack looks great, I’ll have to look at that as I may need it in the next few months. Do you write their blog?! I was thinking perhaps I should subscribe for updates.

    • Hey Ian! Thanks for having a read. :) FPU is truly amazing. I wish I had known about it in my teens! And thank you, Formstack is wonderful. I love my team as well as the product. I don’t actually write for the Formstack blog but you should definitely subscribe for updates. A lot of great content! :)

      I’m glad you’re ready for 2015. It’s going to be a great year, I just know it!
